Becky has experience working with all ages across a variety of settings and as the wife of a Minnesota farmer, Becky has a special interest in identification and treatment of mental-health issues related to farm stress. She is dual-licensed in North Dakota and Minnesota as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).

Stephanie is currently certified in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, PCIT, and Infant Mental Health. She is a trained clinician in PCIT-Toddler. She is accredited in Permanency and Adoption Competency and is a member of the MN Adopt therapist network. She has obtained a certificate in DC:0-5-diagnostics for mental health disorders in young children. She is ASIST-trained in suicide prevention. She is licensed in both North Dakota and Minnesota.

Sara Stallman has been providing mental health and early intervention services to children and their families for the last 18 years. She grew up in a small farming community and later attended Concordia College, Moorhead. She received her Master’s in social work at Augsburg University, Minneapolis.

Sara works with all ages on issues related to anxiety, depression, attachment, attentional concerns, behavioral challenges and grief/loss. She recognizes that family is vital to the treatment process.

Sara is Nationally Certified in TF-CBT (Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) and accredited in Permanency and Adoption Competency, working to help survivors heal through their individual journeys.. Sara has completed a number of certifications related to assessing and treating birth to age five, recognizing early intervention empowers caregivers. She is also a Certified Grief Counselor.

Jasmine has experience working as a social worker with individuals and families in a variety of settings, which include intensive in-home therapy, a Mental Health Counselor at a correctional facility, and a Foster Care Case Manager with county social services. Jasmine currently specializes in treating anxiety, anger, depression, grief/loss, trauma, and family/relationship concerns. Jasmine is trained in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT). She is licensed in ND.

Jeff has extensive experience in assessing families for safety and advocating for family’s needs. He believes that every child deserves to have a safe and loving environment to help them strive in life. Jeff offers solution-focused treatment to all ages, parenting skills and safety planning. Lindsey currently specializes in treating grief/loss, infertility, adoption issues, anxiety, anger, depression, trauma, military life, domestic violence, and family/relationship concerns. Lindsey is a certified Domestic Abuse Intervention Program (DAIP) group facilitator. Lindsey strongly believes in providing an atmosphere that is accepting, non-judgmental and empowering. She is licensed in North Dakota, Minnesota, Nevada and Texas.

Telehealth

Katie earned her Master of Social Work degree through the University of North Dakota in 2019. Katie continues to work with children, adolescents, families, and those in the foster care system. In addition, Katie has experience working with adolescents and adults involved in the Criminal Justice system. Katie is a certified Domestic Abuse Intervention Program (DAIP) group facilitator and certified in Grief & Loss treatment. She is nationally certified to provide Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

Katie currently specializes in treating anxiety, depression, trauma, secondary trauma, grief/loss, and family relationships. She is especially passionate about bringing services to those living in rural areas and educating service providers and first responders on Secondary Traumatic Stress. Katie is also a safe and affirming provider for the LGBTQIA+ community.

Toby McClary is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. Pronouns: they/them.  Toby is non-binary and strives to not only be an ally to LGBTQ+ folks, but also an advocate and as such Toby works to support equality and acceptance through providing a safe, affirming space to every identity.  

Toby earned a bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice from Minnesota State University Moorhead in 2006. In 2018, Toby obtained their Master's degree in Social Work from the University of North Dakota. They previously worked in child welfare for 7 years. Toby has a passion for working with disadvantaged families and children and hopes to continue this work in a more therapeutic setting. Toby is currently certified in AutPlay, DC 0-5 and PCIT (Parent Child Interaction Therapy). They are also trained in TF-CBT and in training for PACC (Permanency and Adoption Competency Certification).

Hayley Jangula received her undergraduate degrees in Social Work from Minot State University and Human Development and Family Science at North Dakota State University. Hayley continued her education and received her Masters in Social Work at University of Central Florida. Hayley is a Licensed Master Social Worker licensed in North Dakota. Hayley is PCIT Certified Practitioner by Parent-Child Interaction Therapy, Incorporated. She is also TF-CBT trained. Hayley has experience working with children, adolescents, teenagers, and adults in multiple settings.

Mark has bachelors degrees in Social Work and Criminal Justice from the University of North Dakota. He holds a masters degree in Clinical Social Work from George Warren Brown school of Social Work from Washington University in St. Louis, with an emphasis in family therapy. Mark has a total of 38 years of post-masters experience.

Kim graduated with her BSW from MN State University Moorhead and her MSW from University of South Dakota. She has extensive experience with the senior population as well as adolescents. She is trained in EMDR and has experience working with clients with anxiety, depression, PTSD and childhood trauma.

Kim has been a foster parent for over 10 years. Her favorite hobby is traveling, especially to Virginia Beach. She has 2 dogs and accepts foster dogs through Miles of Love.

Melissa is a Licensed Professional Counselor.  She earned her bachelor’s degree in Psychology at Minnesota State University Moorhead and her master’s degree in Counseling Psychology at the University of Denver in 2009.  Melissa has experience in working with all ages in various settings including inpatient and residential settings.  Melissa is passionate about meeting individuals where they are, providing a safe non-judgmental space to create positive changes.  She has a special interest in working with women struggling with infertility and perinatal/postpartum mental health concerns.  Other areas of interest include depression, anxiety, relational concerns, trauma, and grief.  She is licensed in ND, SD, & MN.  She loves spending time with her husband and 3 boys during her free time!

Mari Wanzek graduated from Minot State University with a bachelor's degree in Social Work. She has worked for private providers in the areas of disability services and child welfare with a focus on treatment foster care and adoption.  She received a master’s in social work (MSW) from Augsburg University in Minneapolis and continued to work with children and families. She believes in the resilience of children, families, and systems.  Having an interest in the area of teaching and learning, she later pursued an undergraduate degree in special education.  While working in the public-school system she also acquired a master’s certificate in Autism.  Mari is passionate about working with adults, families and their children and plans to continue to do so in and out of school settings.  

Mari specializes in treating grief/loss, adoption/foster care issues, anxiety, anger, depression, trauma, and family/relationship concerns. She has a special interest in working with those struggling with mental health concerns such as depression, and anxiety. Her other areas of interest include relational concerns, trauma, and grief.  Her experience is in the areas of child welfare, disability services, foster care and adoption. She enjoys working with adolescents and families on transition issues and has worked with teens and their parents in various capacities for over 30 years.  Mari holds a master's Social Work license in Minnesota and North Dakota. She is also a licensed Special Education teacher certified in the areas of Emotionally Disturbed, Intellectual Disability, and Specific Learning Disability.

Valerie has been an occupational therapist helping children and their families for 23 years. She grew up on a ranch in central North Dakota, later attended the University of Mary and received a Bachelor of Science degree in Occupational Therapy.

She believes that everyone should play with a purpose as they learn new skills and make new connections. She believes collaborating with caregivers is the best way to make a difference in the life of a child. Getting to know her clients and learning what is meaningful to them is her favorite part of being an occupational therapist. She uses play, sensory strategies, and everyday situations to help children with a variety of skills including sensory and behavioral challenges, functional skills, fine motor and visual motor skills, emotional regulation, core strength and social skills. She believes in taking a strengths based approach teaching children new skills.

Jenna Brehm-Gibson is a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker. She earned her Master of Social Work from Portland State University in 2011 and has since devoted her career to helping others. Jenna possesses a wide variety of experience working with diverse populations, including teens, Veterans, youth with disabilities, college students, and individuals struggling with severe mental illness.

With a background in case management and expertise in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Jenna employs a strengths-based approach to empower her clients. She is deeply committed to continuous professional growth and is on track to be fully trained in EMDR by spring 2024, enhancing her ability to provide specialized trauma therapy.

Outside of her profession, Jenna finds solace and inspiration in the great outdoors. She cherishes moments spent in nature, embarking on adventures, especially camping.

Beret grew up in rural North Dakota on the family farm. She moved to Fargo to attend NDSU and earned a BA in Humanities in 2002. She then spent several years as a stay-at-home mom. She earned her Masters of Counseling degree from Colorado Christian University in 2017.

Beret has experience working with adolescents and adults with a variety of needs in outpatient and in-home settings. She has special interest in grief and loss, anxiety, parenting issues, relationship concerns, and spiritual questions. She knows that life is full of twists and turns and is passionate about helping others navigate the unexpected.

Beret is a wife and mother of four children, two of whom joined their family through international adoption. She is an avid reader and enjoys cooking, lake days, spending time with friends, and being outdoors.

Danielle is a licensed clinical social worker in the states of North Dakota and Minnesota. Danielle has worked in the child welfare system for 10 years as a Child Protection social worker as well as case manager. She has experience working with women and children encountering domestic violence as well as unaccompanied, undocumented minors. Danielle is Bilingual in Spanish and English.

Danielle utilizes treatment strategies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. She has also received training in DC 0-5 and Internal Family Systems.

Danielle appreciates diversity and strives to be sensitive to each individual’s culture. She considers it an opportunity to walk alongside people in difficult periods of their lives. It is her hope that together, healing can be found. She strives to create a calm, fun environment to facilitate that healing process. Danielle approaches individuals with curiosity and considers each person the driver of their healing.

Sarah has experience with individuals and families in various settings, including the juvenile justice system, child welfare, and the aging population. She is a licensed social worker in ND and MN and has a bachelor’s degree in social work and criminal justice. She is completing her master’s degree in social work at Minnesota State University Moorhead.

Sarah believes each person is the expert of their own story, their experiences, and the impact those experiences have had on them. She is passionate about how trauma may impact the central nervous system and the brain and how that may affect us emotionally, mentally, and physically. Protection and advocacy for vulnerable populations, specifically children, is also an area of passion and interest to her.

Sarah loves time spent outdoors. Being near the water, mowing, working with flowers, camping, bonfires and time at the lake. She values time spent with her closest family and friends, making memories and laughing.

Tina Jacobs has provided coordination services to the team for the past five years. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Rehabilitation and Human Services, as well as a Master in Rehabilitation Counseling. Prior to joining the team, Tina worked with youth and families providing in-home and mental wellness services. Mental wellness is something everyone deserves, and Tina is glad to be a phone call or email away to help connect clients with their provider.

Tana grew up in Mandan, ND and lived there until this summer when she and her daughter moved to the F-M area. She is currently attending school at M State in hopes of becoming a Dental Hygienist someday. One of her favorite quotes is “Our greatest glory is not in never falling, but in rising every time we fall.” She is excited to be a part of the team and learn more about mental health. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her wonderful daughter, husband, friends, and family. She loves all animals, paddle boarding, kayaking, cooking, baking, reading, board games, yard games, napping, and the occasional Netflix binge.
